Welcome to the blog for the River Kazakhstan '08 mission trip! The River is the college ministry of First Evangelical Free Church, Ames, Iowa. There will be a team of college students from the River in Almaty, Kazakhstan from July 2-16. The team will be teaching English Club to college age Kazak's, and sharing their testimonies and the message of the gospel of Jesus! We invite you to partner with this team BY PRAYING THAT:

• The Gospel will be shared with power;
• The love of God will be clear in our words and actions;
• The people of Kazakhstan will respond to the message of the Gospel;
• The team rely on the power of the Holy Spirit;
• The team be changed and transformed more into the image of the Jesus Christ, having been part of this great opportunity!
• The trip will be safe;
